I never gave this game a chance before. It's much easier to give it a chance when it's in color. It is like a cheap spinoff of SMW, but it's got enough weird/unique situations different from the usual Mario tropes that I think it's worth seeing. It's also very easy to pick up & play with little investment. The game is pretty good if you can appreciate how it's easy to play one sitting at a time on the real hardware. The hack is well done with a pleasing choice of pastel colors, which probably isn't what Nintendo would have done, but I like it a lot. The reproduction cartridge is well done and very affordable. My only grump is that it ought to be in a GBC shell since the hack doesn't run on original GB. Overall, I'm very pleased to have bought this cart.
