This new Zelda game totally impressed me! The graphics, dungeons, music, monsters, puzzles, and new item are all top notch. It plays like a spiritual successor to The original Zelda/A Link to the Past/ and Link's Awaking, but without the annoying interactions of the NPC found in the Gameboy game. Whoever programmed this really made it a nearly flawless experience. The menu interface is so finely tuned. You can shuffle with up 3 "B" items at any time. This is far from a simple hack with pretty graphics. The only criticism that I have is that the difficulty, especially early on is somewhat uneven. You acquire the "red ring" about 40% into the game and receive the "blue ring" about 50% into the game. Only after you receive the blue ring does the game actually feel truly fair in its difficulty. The 4th dungeon is very difficult and HUGE as it serves as a centerpiece in the story of the game. You may be tempted to use the Game Genie code for invincibility to beat that boss. In closing, I have loved my time playing this new Zelda game. This by far the most impressive, original NES homebrew that I have played so far. Buy it if you are a serious Zelda fan!
