Final Fantasy 3
The story revolves around four orphaned youths drawn to a crystal of light. The crystal grants them some of its power, and instructs them to go forth and restore balance to the world. Not knowing what to make of the crystal's pronouncements, but nonetheless recognizing the importance of its words, the four inform their adoptive families of their mission and set out to explore and bring back balance to the world.
Now using the new (2019) chaos rush translation. This is a translation patch of Final Fantasy III for the Famicom/NES. It aims to be an accurate translation that also uses Square Enix’s terminology for its modern remakes of that game. The script is influenced by the DS remake, but the only information expressed by characters is strictly limited to information that was in the original Japanese script. It also aims to be the definitive English version of Final Fantasy III in doing so.

THE NES RPG - What Are You Waiting For???
The NES version Final Fantasy III is a great game, and it's a shame it never saw a true release in the United States. The repro offered on this site features an excellent translation, and the gameplay and storyline come across perfectly. The battery back-up also works like a champ, and really, playing this repro is exactly like playing a genuine NES cartridge. No hitches, no glitches, and no problems at all, I can recommend this game without the slightest bit of doubt. The icing on the cake is that the cartridge, itself, is also of superb quality, and matches the excellence of the game inside perfectly. Highly recommended!

the best RPG on the NES!!!
It arrived much faster than I expected. The quality of the game is flawless, it's by far the best Final Fantasy on the NES. The story and gameplay are above any of the previous instalments on the NES. The build quality of the cartridge and the label are superb. I even got the cart painted, and they did a great job. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a great, classic RPG. What are you waiting for??? Go and get one.

Perfect reproduction
I can't say enough about the quality of OCD's repros. The labels alone put them head and shoulders above almost every other reproduction I've seen. I think this is the most expensive NES repro on the site, but it's worth every penny, works flawlessly.

Perfect!
I ordered this game about a week and half ago and it just arrived today. The cartridge plays fantastic and I am so happy to finally complete my Final Fantasy collection. It is the one reproduction that I have wanted and it was absolutely fantastic. Well worth the money and would definitely recommend!

Solid
This is the definitive FF3 reproduction cart to have in your collection if you're a fan of the series. The latest "Chaos Rush" translation is arguably the best one there is, having only minor issues, such as displaying odd characters whenever status ailments get cured during battle. Everything else is spot-on, with appropriate spell names (Fire, Fira, Firaga, etc.), character names (Aria instead of Elia), and names of certain races (little people are now called "gnomes" instead of "midgets"). The quality of cart itself is great. It works perfectly in my original NES. The glossy label is a nice touch, and looks nice with my other NES carts.
