Read All Description. This is a backlit Gameboy Pocket. This one is not an IPS screen but the original screen is backlit so you can play in the dark or just simply be able to see the screen. So this one doesn't have a brightness setting or color settings. It's an original red shell with a new silver screen lens. Runs on two AAA batteries.

An important note I would like to point out on this is that the particular backlight mod for this type of gameboy produces an audible "whine" from the speakers when its turned on. It's like that low pitch sound that a dog can only hear. When the sound from the game kicks in it's not bad. It's just a side effect of the backlight's current.
